"My grandfather sparked my love for film making and I spent countless hours growing up watching movies with him. Years later I was able to use his super 8 camera to make this film. The same camera that was used to shoot my mother and her sisters growing up. To me the camera holds a special magic and was perfect for the project. For this film I wanted to attempt to capture the beauty of nature and the tranquility and peace I find when I’m in Orient."
